The La Cimbali team are getting ready for two great events as the summer comes to an end.
This Autumn, the team is excited for the Host 2015 which is in late October. This is a part of the EXPO Milano event. This will take place at Milan’s Fieramilano from 23-27 during the last week of the EXPO. This fantastic international event takes place twice a year and the last one was in 2013. This year there will be 1,700 exhibitors and it expects to welcome over 130,000 visitors from 62 countries.
If you are looking for an event that blends culture with business, HOST is the right event for you. There will be more than 400 meetings, talks and seminars and this includes, workshops, innovative performances, demonstrations by starred chefs, master pastry bakers ice cream makers as well as baristas from all around the world.
The coffee segment of HOST has always been the ‘venue par excellence’ attracting the world’s top companies and a strong contingent of specially selected coffee-roasting firms, importers, producers and operators. There will be areas devoted to all the stages of coffee production and processing with focus on the creation of different blends, including exotic as well as espresso. It really is a special area to be part of.
The second event after HOST will be the Cup North event which will take place over the weekend of 7-8 November and will be held at the Victoria Warehouse Hotel in Manchester. This event will attract coffee lovers and include professionals in the industry, roasters, baristas and foodies as well!
This year La Cimbali will be one of three official sponsors of Tamper Tantrum who are a forum dedicated to broadcasting stories, opinions and theories from the coffee industry. As part of Cup North 2014 they were extremely well received and a great success. This time they will have six coffee industry superstars who will share their stories including; Chloe Callow the launcher of the Bespoke Water Division for Norman Pendred & Co Ltd, and Colin Harmon – co-creator and co-host of Tamper Tantrum and four-time Irish barista champion.
